I'm a product person with a background in design and architecture. I try to dip my hands into a variety of mediums including but not limited to print, editorial, web and mobile, spatial and interiors.
I'm currently working on building an assortment of things with incredible people at Asimov Collective, a small studio I started with some friends based in Brooklyn, New York. I've been lucky to work with teams of all sizes and achieve beautiful work with some beautiful people.
BUY/SELL was part show opening and part satirical act that we decided to put out regarding the world of art and the selling of art, especially in NYC. We wanted to see how far we could push the boundaries of art sales and the appearance of a “overly hyped show” and seeing the results of it.
As always, we wanted to mix in technology to its full potential, creating a false website for a “gallery” that is hosting this show (hence the name GAG, but also similar to GAGOSIAN) and a “bidding” platform to over-exaggerate the capital required to purchase some of these pieces.
The Gag Gallery website - a front.
The Bidding Website - a ploy.
The AR experience specifically designed to trigger on a distinct artwork in the gallery.
